My child doesn't have much experience with horses is that OK? Yes, our lesson program is designed for kids with no horse experience.
How many kids are in each lesson session? A maximum of 8 kids are in each lessons. There are 2 instructors that have years of experience with horses and kids at each lesson.
As a parent can I stay for during lessons? Parents are encouraged not to stay for lessons. In the event that the parent wishes to stay we asked that parents stay in their car. The last day of lessons parents are invited to stay for lessons and are able to take pictures then.
What kind of horses are used for lessons? All our horses are well trained, kid friendly horses. We use older horses to ensure the safety of our participates. Most of our horses have been on the ranch for several years. The instructors know the horses well before they are added to our lesson program.
Do I have to buy a helmet for my child? No, we do provide a helmet for every child at no additional charge. Horse riding helmets are required. If you wish to have your child have their own helmet there is additional charge. This charge can be added on to your total after booking the lesson. All helmets must be approved (SEI) horse riding helmets. Bike helmets are not allowed.
What does my child need to wear? It is required that all children wear long pants and tennis shoes or boots while participating in lessons.
What does my child need to bring? The only thing your child needs to bring is a water bottle.
